As many of us know, the original Homefront from Kaos studios was really sup-par with mediocre writing and WAYYYYYY scripted. Since then Crytek has purchased the license and is making the shooter open world, and better--hopefully.

Crytek is awful
-
New News: Crytek is supposedly on the verge of bankruptcy and is loosing employees. Homefront 2 is going to be shit.

Edited by Bloodylaser: 6/24/2014 4:59:30 PMWell I can tell it plays like far cry considering crytek made the first far cry. (And why did they choose the DPRK invading American they actually can't do that because they are stuck in the 1970's with outdated soviet tech)

Co-op only. The game is trash.
-
The original had some seriously fun multiplayer.
-
I can never take Homefront seriously when they expect me to seriously believe that the DPRK could ever successfully occupy the US
-
Looks much better than the original. Hopefully, like Dead Island 2, a new studio will make the game better than the original.
scripted bad!

open world good!
Why do people have these mentalities? One is not objectively better than the other. Each has their faults and their pros. That said, I kinda laughed since the NKs are all future techy with hard angles on all their crap when the reality is that they are so handicapped by sanctions that they can't even make decent glass window panes.

I enjoyed homefront.
-
Plus the game takes place in my home city philly!

Edited by Tyger: 6/24/2014 2:40:21 AMI think they would have been better off making it a new IP. The home front name carries a lot of negative baggage.
-
It looks pretty cool. I probably won't get it but I'd try it
-
I'm moderately anticipating it

Ikr looks awesome.
