Which console?
360- I'd go for the x12.
Xbone - xo seven
PS3/4 - Px22 or px4.
Px22 work on pretty much everything, and they're only about $120

I'm on a ps4 I'm thinking of this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00JE86PF8/ref=gno_cart_title_0?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A092058828QS644IBWRIX It's cheap it seems to have good quality chat audio but can it control the volume on both chat and game channels what do you think?

I have no experience with those, so I can't say if they're any good. I don't think they'll be better than turtle beach, but they're cheap.
