Just realized something about The Order 1886...
It runs at 1920x800/30 fps.
That means that the entire game will basically be in letterbox mode. The. Entire. Game.

The developers are saying that they're going for a cinematic feel. What better way to get that than to literally make the game look like an interactive movie?
