Not really. But the areas are MASSIVE. and there is no loading screen. U may take a road thru a canyon to another area. But the road itself is also a place to explore. Caves. Enemies. Hidden areas accessible by launching your sparrow at full throttle. Its seemless so it [i]feels[/i] open world.
