Fusion Rifles
So my impression from the weekly update is that the fusion rifles will function in a similar manner to the splaser of yore, though with 7 (get it?) rapid shots instead of one big one. I'd also assume that it is closer to a medium damage than the splasers crazy output.
I don't want to compare Destiny to Halo, but I can't help thinking of it in this situation. What are your guys thoughts on the subject? Am I off base?

4 RepliesAs bigrob mentioned in the last episode, I'd hope it was more like the plasma pistol on charge up. As powerful as the splazer was, it really was a niche weapon that took a lot of skill / patience to use well ( or maybe I'm just rubbish with it ) in any case, if it's the love child of a Spartan Laser, I would actively avoid it if I'm in the middle of a fracas. I'd hope the charge holds, so I don't freak out and ruin the shot at the second the thing is about to fire itself.
