>Science says it is impossible to have an actual infinite >Justify that the Big Bang and cycle of the universe is infinite >Something comes from nothing Science doesn't officially prove anything 100%. Science is our tool to explaining things to the best that we can, and it has had many faults over the centuries. Just look at the science of medicine.

  • Nah science does say that. You cannot actually have infinity of something.

No it doesn't. There are a number of hypotheses thrown around but nothing confirmed. No scientist will tell you for certain either way because there is no evidence.

  •
Nah science does say that. You cannot actually have infinity of something.
so that means god can't exist, since everyone says god always has been.

  • God is omnipotent, meaning the laws of nature do not affect him. What seems impossible to us isn't to Him, because we operate under the laws of nature.

Omnipotence and omniscience have always been the main principles of God, I don't know how you are just now discovering this... And it's easy to dismiss it, because you grew up on, live, and operate under the laws of nature. What seems impossible to you can be thrown away easily, but if you reflect on the possibility of a being being capable of not falling within the rules of our lives, then you realize that it isn't an unsound belief. It explains how something indeed come from nothing, since nothing and something are principles of the laws of nature that we live under.

  •
It explains how something indeed come from nothing, since nothing and something are principles of the laws of nature that we live under.
so then why do people dismiss the big bang as "something can't come from nothing" if god created things from nothing? while god may not be subject to laws of physics and nature, the things he created are.

  • Or you can actually read the article and try to refute it rather than dismissing it because you have no material to reply with.

    >implying I dodged any questions or am bringing up anything without proof You realize your link describes what you're doing right? You're saying the universe was just created by itself without any proof, and denying any scientific fallacies without providing proof as to how those fallacies are true. You brought no proof in disputing my source, which provides both philosophical and mathematical consideration into play.

  • I'm not dodging any questions because none were put forward, save what's-wrong-with-this-picture, which I addressed. I also don't think you understand the fallacy being referenced. You have yet to demonstrate how your major premise is tautologous, so forgive me for not taking your claim seriously.

    It's literally in the source.
1. Everything that has a beginning of its existence has a cause of its existence; 2. The universe has a beginning of its existence; Therefore: 3. The universe has a cause of its existence.
Science explains that no actual infinities exist within the world, yet science tries to explain that the universe runs on an actual infinite cycle, as it justifies no creation of the something we have today. The fact that science will never be 100% correct and crumbles the more microscopic we get, it shows it is flawed.

There cannot be a physical value given to infinity, and it is not possible for something to be physically infinite. It is scientifically believed that the the universe has gone through an infinite cycle in the past and for the future, despite there being no chance for something to physically be infinite (aka like temporal past). Science is flawed in assuming the universe is infinite, and that the universe was able to come from nothing. Those are two individual flaws, one of which violates the first law of thermodynamics.
