Try to find one you like, and keep copying it until you understand every little lines angle and shape. this usually takes about 5 tries with me to get a general understanding. This is most effectively done when thoroughly studying every stroke you make [try to make mental notes of how far things are or the angle of the shape compared to another point of interest.] You can copy something a million times, but if you dont play attention you still won't know anything.

  • I do think about objects as much as possible when I draw them. Like what does this line do? Or what is it from? How long or wide does it need to be? Stuff like that. And I draw worms a lot. But they're kinda different each time I draw them. They're never 100% the same.
