  • Did you just say that Sony makes more money than Microsoft? I think you meant to say that Playstation has sold more than xbox.... Sony is actually losing money as a company

  • I think he meant to say, Sony makes *them* more money, which is true when looking at pre-order numbers for each platform.

What's surprising is that PlayStation gamers (most of which have never played a real Bungie game before) are supporting Bungie this strongly. The Xbox One theoretically should be blowing the PlayStation 4 out of the water when it comes to a new BUNGIE game. The fact that they got their game's market to double its size is enough to justify being pro-Sony. I guarantee you, if Bungie wasn't pro-PS4, many more PlayStation gamers would be sceptical that Bungie would just make a crappy port of the Xbox version for their system. Keep in mind, this isn't JUST another multiplat developer. This is a developer who has been only making games for the Xbox For several years now. The reaction would likely be the same if Naughty Dog suddenly went multiplat. Xbox gamers would be sceptical with their version of the game, just as how PlayStation gamers are sceptical about their version of Destiny.

  • Good point, but still. I was excepting something around 120k preorders from the PS4 around this time due to the fact Bungie has only ever been in the Xbox ecosystem for most new gamers' lives. Bungie has no positive reputation with long-time PlayStation gamers, unlike the Xbox side of things.
