It wasn't as good as The Avengers, and sure as hell not The Dark Knight (best comic book film ever IMO), but it was still brilliant, a shining 8/10.
Every Phase 2 film seems to be better than its prior counterparts (not hard to top CA1, mind). Let's hope Guardians continues that before Age of Ultron.

I went back and watched Avengers and it really wasn't that great. Slower paced, forced/cringeworthy jokes, black widow had character other than eye candy, ect.

I thought Iron Man 3 was the best in it's series. Thor 2 was okay but not as good as the first. Captain America 2 was amazing.
