sounds like a lot of work. and too sugary. ill stick with ego waffles and dark chocolate peanut butter.
-
Next time I'll make a baked chicken coated in corn flakes recipe.

Do you know any recipes involving chicken and peanut butter? I remember my math teacher in middle school was saying something about it, but I forgot what he said in regards to fixing it. As odd as it sounds I'd like to try it. -

so basically shake'n'bake?
-
If that works for you then great but you have to marinate the chicken first. And shake and bake crumbs are too fine. You have to crumble the corn flakes but not too much.
-
you are going to dip it in an egg wash then coat it in corn flakes, right? what are you going to marinate it in?
-
I have no idea about the marinade to be honest. I know I want lemon and garlic to be in it but can't think of the rest. You know any good ones?
-
not for baked chicken. usually i dont marinate it when i make chicken strips (egg wash, bread crumb/whatever covering) which sounds similar to what you were proposing. Render is fairly knowledgeable able about food stuffs, you could PM him or hope he comments if you really want to try a marinade.
