Thank you. You could expand your knowledge on the subject, too, if you peruse through here when you have the time. I'd also appreciate giving me your thoughts. A Q&A is always welcome, as well.

I'm curious to know why this subject is so interesting for you? No disrespect obviously I just didn't think anyone on bungie would have this much enthusiasm for having so much research done on this topic

Well, I mean, obviously I love video games--and Bungie games, at that--or I wouldn't be here. But, I dunno. Terrorism and political violence are pretty common in today's world, and with the rise of globalization the chances of a major conflict between two state actors is shrinking. However, like said in the OP, the influence of non-state actors is steadily growing; this includes terrorist organizations, as well as militant groups. While interstate conflict may be reducing in likelihood, intrastate most certainly is not. I find the phenomenon of rising non-state actors to be fascinating because of the influence they wield. For instance, one non-state actor has drastically changed American culture forever in one day; this group is, of course, al-Qaeda. I find them to be just completely fascinating. I think this is because of the secrecy and mystery that surrounds the group, which fits their clandestine nature. I love researching and studying the group. Honestly, if you start reading some of the stuff I've posted here, you might also find them to be quite interesting. Not to mention, ever since witnessing 9/11 I've always wanted to be involved in the take down of those responsible. Does this answer your question? I wasn't quite sure how to answer it.
