As a guy who has 10 years experience in the military and has a LOT of contact with people/friends with PTSD substance use does not help. Too many of my mates have taken to the booze and even pot to try and help, however none of this reduces the frequency or duration of their episodes. Ever seen someone trip out when high? No imagine that times 1000 when combined with an episode. If you have a psychological disorder pot has also been know to being it to the forefront and amplify the issue too.
