People are very into Multiplayer co-op play in our generation. Then there are the people who are big into MMORPG and the story's that unfold. Where do you plan on immersing yourself first.
Will you jump into Multiplayer?
Or
Will you dive into the campaign and side missions?

I spread points and tackle the one that starts with the same letter as mine. If I'm lucky I'll be on that sweet sweet super cap kill mail.

Campaign probably
-
Definitely campaign. In destiny, you go through campaign to gather and upgrade weapons and armor. And since there are some REALLY HARDCORE players, you dont wanna jump in too quickly.
-
Definitely campaign first. I usually don't like to get into multiplayer until I have a good grasp of the mechanics in the game; but then again, trial by fire could be the best way to do it. Who the -blam!- knows.

The campaign. As I have since the beginning of my gaming life. Unless, just maybe, stray off if there is a gun to be found or won by doing a Raid or a Strike. But Campaign all the way.

Edited by ashdelete: 3/19/2014 12:13:52 AMCompetitive multiplayer fits into destiny universe via factions, so I'm guessing you can't play it till you've chosen a faction. However we also know that the choice of faction will be a meanigful one, and I would be massively surprised if competitive multiplayer wasn't in the beta. Is it possible that the beta will include some kind of story to help us choose a faction?

We now know that you are obligated to spend the first time of the game in campaign, before you can begin playing competitive.
Lars Bakken in gameinformer interview
Campaign. Just thinking. You might not be able to play pvp at the start. Its part of the story and might be introduced after a few hours of game play.

Everything.

I have a feeling it is going to be a lot like going for a walk in real life. I get distracted, stop to look at things, meet people, shop, see something shinny and return home without that item from the grocery store that I left to get in the first place. :-)
-
Campaign and side missions. I don't think I'll be touching the competitive multiplayer for a long while
-
Campaign. Multiplayer doesn't tell a story

I'll be jumping right into the campaign. Already have the set up if they don't do local co-op. My better half an I will be out tearing it up an getting loot an ranking it all up.
-
Campaign first. Get the know the story, familiarize myself with the controls and mechanics of the game. When I feel comfortable with that I'll dive into multiplayer.
-
1) Make Clan 2) Kill things with friends 3) Huge dance party in City Square 4) Sit and watch the sunset
-
I would do multiplayer don't even go into campaign just go into a match with my bare fists
