Here we are gentlemen. I'm killing myself right now about my scanner. It makes my lovely piece so much less than what it really is. But anywho, there we go. Iron Golem from Dark Souls. Started as a simple outline sketch for proportion practice and then I wanted to do more.

It looks like you've got proportions down really well in this. The yellow in it makes it much more eye catching and very pleasing. If you have it scanned I would advise an attempt to remove the paper lines an drawing it digitally. Adding a background and color will really bring out the life in this

Again, another step I'm waiting to move on to. In every sense of the word I'm not a keyboard warrior, and my experience with programs such as that is limited. Once again, I figure once I have a better understanding of how things work from the most basic, fundamental drawing level, I'll have a better time transitioning onto computer shenanigans if I have the knowledge of how everything works on paper first. And, it'll be easier on my hand if I already had some prior experience in being picky and slow. This little collection of scribbles took me quite some time, because there were so many different dark shades to capture, and I took things very slowly to make sure I got everything the best I could. This is probably the largest thing I've drawn to date, and you can see it takes up the majority of the page. I think in here I pushed myself to not only make something proportionally correct and larger than the reference image I used, but to capture all the light that was bouncing off the armour, as well as adding some colour which was present from another light source.
