This probably sounds like a weird question to most people but how much time do you spend thinking? And when I say thinking, I mean time alone that isn't forced onto you. I'd like it if you could make the distinction for the amount of time you spend thinking about relationships, food, music, dreams, etc, and the amount of time you spend thinking about science, philosophy, politics, and/or history (you understand why that's important).
I'm mostly making this thread as a reference for myself.

I think like, all the time bro...
-
Yes a lot. I think about my past, what's going on right now, and my future. I think about how the universe works and just wonder things in general.
-
An unhealthy amount. There are times where I do literally nothing but sit/lay and think, and that can go on for a solid two hours. Then there are times where I'm sort of doing something else but really just thinking. And then there are times when I'm doing something else, but am also just thinking about things. The thoughts are pretty much entirely politics, philosophy and relationships.
-
Too much. Eventually it just becomes a downer.
-
I spend many hours a day wondering how the world/universe works. Other then that I just live my everyday life.
-
When I meditate.
-
All the time.
-
I do most of my solitary thinking in the shower.
-
Almost every waking moment of my life. Unless I am focused highly on something (games, movies, work, etc) that requires a high amount of cognitive activity. Even then I usually just wins up thinking up alternative scenarios to what I just saw, heard, or read. While I think it's great to have a really active/creative mind, sometimes it's just annoying as all hell when I just want quiet time.

Far too much, to be honest.
I have no problem with you hijacking the group as long as posts are thought-provoking or awareness-raising. No partisan platforms for the sake of it, though.
At least an hour every day. Either when I'm in the shower or just chilling.
-
More than I should.
-
I basically turn my brain off after class/work is done. Poor thing needs a nap.
-
Probably the very entirety of my whole life?
-
A lot. I'm not even sure if I can break up what I think about into different time slots because I think about different things at once. I'll try and break it up into percentages though. Made up scenarios to do with crime - 20% Made up scenarios to do with everything else - 30% Real-time deductions - 5% (it's very immediate for the most part) Future planning - 5% Cataloguing - 1% (it doesn't take long) Narrating almost everything in my life - 39% My brain functions differently than most people's.

About an hour every day
-
Every night before I go to bed, I'm up for at least an hour thinking.
-
A couple of hours about science etc Maybe 30 hour about dreams etc I don't have much time to waste
