Is 1 month long enough to start seeing someone else?

One of my friends is really hung up on her ex and today she really started crying because she saw him holding hands with another girl or something ridiculous.
It has been a month now since their breakup and they were dating for nearly a year. Maybe 11 months or something.
I think she's over-reacting but maybe I'm wrong and a month is too soon to start dating another?

4 Replies1 month seems kind of fast, but it was probably the reason he broke up with her. He was probably attracted to this one girl and started having feelings for her. It is only high school though so it really doesn't matter.
