Almost everyone I know makes their ramen differently at home. Typically I like to use the Nissin Top Ramen beef or oriental (which is vegan), cook the noodles, drain most of the water, then add seasoning, sesame oil, and sriracha. Then top it off with a poached egg, sesame seeds, and parsley. The picture was the same recipe as above plus grilled onions and fake chicken.
Some other things I've put into ramen to switch it up:
Peanut Butter (makes it like a thai style peanut curry)
Horseradish in the beef flavor, sounds strange, tastes amazing
Fried/boiled/eggdrop style eggs
So, how do you make your ramen?
Also, the cooking group The Recipe for Disaster is open for new members and looking for some admins. For people who love to cook, want to learn to cook, or just love food in general. Cheers!

"Posted in group The Recipe For Disaster" Does this remind anyone else of RuneScape? No?
-
I put it in the microwave.

Cook the noodles but with more water than usual, add soy sauce, fish sauce, butter. Then add chopped mushroom, spring onion, spinach, meat and then crack an egg into it.
-
Boil it in water Drain it Add home made chicken broth Dump hot sauce in

I TYPICALLY USE IT TO HAVE A DIFFERENT TEXTURE AND FLAVOR WHEN I COOK. ITS GREAT WHEN PROPERLY MIXED WITH CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP.

I haven't eaten Ramen in a long time. I usually added a packet of tuna and some butter and lemon juice. I would condense it all down in some heavy cream, or milk. And cook the noodles in it.
-
I steep my balls in it for no less than 142 seconds.

No Kitchen 8 reference?

My wife and I somehow survived on nothing but Ramen and hotdogs for the first year we were together. We were so broke it was sad. I rarely eat it anymore.

I don't. I like real food.

Boil water or microwave then put an egg on top

I like eating top ramen raw without any of it's seasoning. It's macro count makes for a great emergency replacement meal.

Edited by Atomic Tea: 2/19/2014 9:18:07 PMBoil some water, drop the noodles in the pot, impatiently wait 5 minutes, drain the water and put the noodles in a bowl. A dash of salt, a generous amount of pepper, and a generous amount of delicious garlic powder. I can eat ramen without garlic powder, but I prefer it with. It has such a heavenly smell.

I boil water then eat the chunk of solid ramen and drink the boiling water

Edited by Jim the Admin: 2/19/2014 9:27:40 PMTwo packets. Drop solid chunks into boiling water. Let boil until I feel like it. Season with the two packets. Pour Ramen into giant bowl. Eat Ramen. Be contented. I once had to survive whole summer on Ramen. Really wasn't bad. It's mostly water and sodium.

Edited by brandorobot: 2/19/2014 9:22:04 PMAdd the seasoning to the water while it's cooking so the seasoned water cooks into the noodles. I drain the rest to avoid consuming all that salt. Id like to think its at least a little bit healthier. Sometimes I might add an egg or some mushrooms and green onion if I've got it, but always some sriracha.

Microwave.

Recipe for Disaster? What is this Runescape shit man? Lol on more serious point the only asian food I've cooked is sweet and sour chick with plain noodles, I don't cook much of that cuisine because partly I don't regularly buy the ingredients. Makes for a great take out though.

I don't make it. I go to santouka ramen or aijisen ramen. Tonkatsu or spicy miso.
-
I don't make Raamen at home. There's a really tasty and cheap place across the road, and they do take away.
