LOL - I love how the Boltshot is back! I used it as my go-to secondary weapon
-
It's the same model as the the one that comes with Halo 4 figures so I'm assuming it's a placeholder to give Chief something to hold. I wouldn't look so closely into it.

>Implying it can't be changed

What a amazing GIF

In terms of marketing you'd expect the first impression to be the most important one. Whoever's idea it was for Chief to hold the Boltshot probably either hasn't spent a lot of time with the game, or just has it on every loadout they have.
-
Well, if you're going to receive impressions from prototype toys for a game we haven't even seen one second of gameplay from, I feel sorry for you. It's just a weapon. Not that big of a deal.
-
It's what it means for Halo Xbox One, more than it does the figure itself. I know they didn't confirm that the Boltshot is in, but to see it on his persons doesn't help.
-
Yeah, but it's a prototype toy. It's like the Assault Rifle or BR in Halo 3. Oh no it's so powerful and it's coming back but we have no details or single clue how it's modified! I understand you dislike the B0oltshot, but it it really necessary to automatically assume it's returning in Halo 5 in the exact same condition it was in Halo 4? Wait for gameplay or stats first. Then complain.
-
Don't you mean the "BOO-shot"?
-
Well I guess by your logic an Assault Rifle would be in Halo 2 Anniversary considering Halo 2 Chief has an AR on his back.
-
If you read my post you'd know that I acknowledged that it wasn't confirmed.
-
I did read your post. But if you acknowledge that its not confirmed then why are you still bitching about it so hard? The Boltshot is new to the figure series, it fits with the figure, it better than nothing. Just get over it.
-
That may not be a problem to you, but it will be to those who want to make a profit out of it. They could have either used an existing gun that is quite favorable, or a new one to start the hype.
-
Well the figure physically can't use a 2 handed weapon with that cloak. A boltshot does make a good first impression since McFarlane hasn't made one yet.
-
Hardly anyone like's the Boltshot though. I don't see how they're going to impress with something the majority of people dislike. They could have shown something new, like how they did with the Sticky Detonator in the first Halo 4 trailer.
