the site was better when it was semi-anarchy.

reading music. Through the year of 2013 this site was border line anarchy. the mods didn't really have much power, and no one got banned for petty things. you only would get banned for doing something far far out there(illegal stuff, pornz, etc). I don't think Mods shouldn't have power. It's just the petty stuff you get banned for bugs me a little. Last year we didnt have any of that. if you didn't like what you see, just ignore it. mute if you like(even though muting is of spineless panzies). i know the banning system was kinda flawed(not being able to get unbanned), but those were things that didn't effect me. with that being said, i had not been hit by the ninja justice yet. i for the most part pretty much obey the CoC. It's just the place was way more entertaining when everyone was let loose. this thread is just my opinion. i'm not suggesting at all that the ninjas get stripped of power, but not to ban petty things( trying hard not to sound whiny here) . what do you guys think?

  • I think that no matter how Bungie updates this site it will remain impossible to please everyone. Before, people argued that the mods didn't have enough power, and now the same people argue that the mods have too much power. Over the past year or two, the community forum has turned into a place where everyone just complains about the same issues over and over. This part of the reason why so many members from the early Halo days have left this site. The quality of the conversations and overall attitude of the members on this site is nothing like it used to be (my opinion). Everyone is against eachother, against the mods, against Bungie, etc. Like I said, there is no possible update to this site that could please everyone. Bungie is a video game developer and this website will never be their main focus. Obviously there are still things worth complaining about on b.net, but if everyone would just accept how things are instead of constantly complaining and comparing the site to how they personally think it should be, I think all these little issues would start to fix themselves.
