Because America and its politicians' willingness to bend over and get -blam!-ed in the ass by monopolistic big businesses.

Politicians aren't getting -blam!-ed though. The american people are in stocks while big corporations and politicians smash our bums.
-
Politicians have to favor the big businesses or get pushed out of office, because the businesses have the power and money to take down people who don't work in their interest. It would take nothing short of a full-scale revolution by all American politicians to flip it around, but unfortunately too many are accepting the "benefits" (read: bribes) of working in the interests of the corporations. I'm not suggesting anarchy, but a turn-around and change is greatly needed.

You'd think these businesses would have took out people like Ron Paul along time ago. I'm sure there a lot more people too who aren't under the control of corporations. Awareness needs to raised so people vote out anyone who has any shady ties with big businesses.
-
Yeah, but many of those who don't have ties to corps and private agendas are complete nutjobs (case in point, Ron Paul)
-
He is in no way a nut job anymore than any politician is.

that's, like, your opinion, mmkay

As was your statement.

Bby that was beautiful.
