Flood, give me some recipies

I'm trying to put together a shopping list with ingredients I'm going to need for dishes. I've been looking to try out new recipes. Post your favorite ones please! I need around five of them. I will edit the OP with the ones that I find the best EDIT: I'd prefer it be a meal rather than a dessert. 1. Banoffee pie - Gatsby 2. Pasta Dish - Master Baiter 3. Pie, preferably the Shepard's variety - Raptorkid24 4. Spanish Chicken - Recon Number 54 5. Super Southern Macaroni - Qwerty the Great 6. 7. 8.

  • I don't often cook, but when I do I sometimes just put salmon fillets in a pan, season them with olive oil, ground pepper, and a bit of salt, and serve it on a bed of linguini with lemon cream sauce (think Alfredo sauce but a little more tangy and salty, you can make it with butter, milk, salt/pepper, lemon zest/juice, and maybe add a little cheese to it). Goes great with a bit of fresh lemon squeezed over it. Yeah, I really like sour/spicy foods.

  • For breakfast I make "egg muffins" because they're really easy and healthy and I can do other things while they're cooking. -preheat oven to 425 -put one piece of broccoli into a cupcake pan (make as many as you want, I usually do 6 and it's pretty filling) -add 2tbsp of egg whites to each -throw some cheese on top -bake for 15-20 minutes You can obviously customize them but adding things other than broccoli. Keeps things interesting and simple in the mornings.

  • 2 lbs. ground beef 1 jumbo white onion 1 green bell pepper 2 cans pinto beans 2 cans whole kernel yellow corn 1 1.25 oz. packet taco/chili seasoning (more or less as desired) 2 boxes jiffy corn muffin mix 2 eggs 1 can tomato sauce Milk 2 cups cheddar cheese Any other ingredients as desired Prep: 1. Combine beef, pepper, and onion in a skillet or Dutch oven and cook over med-high heat until beef is browned. Drain excess grease. 2. Add beans, corn, seasoning, tomato sauce, and any other desired ingredients and reduce heat. Allow to simmer until heated all the way through, about 15-20 min. 3. Combine corn muffin mix, eggs, and milk in a medium to large bowl. Use the amount if milk specified on the box, then add more until the mix has a somewhat runnier texture. This is important for later. 4. Preheat oven to 350-375°F. Move the ingredients from earlier into a Dutch oven or similar shaped oven-safe pot. Pour corn muffin mixture over the top of the chili, making sure to give an even, unbroken layer over the whole thing (this is where runnier mixture helps). 5. Put the lid on the Dutch oven/pot and put it in the oven for 45 minutes, or until the cornbread is slightly browned. Remove from oven and cover with cheese as desired. This is a recipe I don't have written down anywhere, just one of the ones I've learned from family. It's very flexible, you can try adding things like sausage, vegetables, Ramen (surprisingly good), hotter peppers, brown sugar, et cetera. The one I have listed is just the base part to start with. If you have any questions, just ask, and I can probably give you an answer or clarification.

  • Make a banoffee pie, tastiest dessert to make. Extremely simple as well. 400 grams digestive biscuits 200 grams butter 2 tins condensed milk 0.47 litres double cream 2 large bananas (ripe) 1 chocolate (for grating decoration)

        Demonic Chronic's Super Dank Breakfast Pizza. Take Pillsbury biscuits and mold the dough into a pizza crust, garnish with eggs, bacon, cheese, ham, diced green peppers, a bit of salt and bake at 350 degrees until the crust is golden brown. Enjoy the deliciousness.

              • You should make the super southern macaroni. You make regular macaroni noodles, but combine cheese milk and eggs to make a kind of sauce. Then you layer it macaroni, sauce, more cheese, repeat. Stuff taste amazing, bit high in calories though

                    Here's something that's dead easy. Boneless chicken breasts Wrap in bacon, secure with toothpick leaving enough of the toothpicks sticking out. Into a baking dish, bake at 325 until the bacon starts to brown. Remove from oven, pull the toothpicks. Cover the breasts with a jar of salsa and return to the oven. When the salsa is bubbling, top with shredded cheese, return to the oven. When the cheese is melted, remove from oven, let stand for 5 minutes. Serve with Spanish or yellow rice.

                                Here's an actual meal I think is really good. I've used olives to add a bit of saltiness and extra flavour, but feel free to throw in whatever you've got in the cupboard that'll do the same job – anchovies or sun-dried tomatoes would work well. Place a large pan on a high heat. Lay your chicken breasts on a board and cut three incisions into each one like fingers, going all the way through the breast but leaving about 1cm joined at the top. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper. Snap the woody ends off of the asparagus spears. Add a splash of olive oil to the pan, followed by the chicken, pancetta and asparagus. Cook for 10 minutes, or until the chicken and asparagus are cooked through, turning halfway. Lift the pancetta on top of the chicken once golden and crispy. Move the chicken, bacon or pancetta and asparagus to one side of the pan then throw in the tomatoes, olives, basil leaves and butter. Reduce to a low heat and add a splash of wine to help make a sauce. Leave to bubble away and thicken for a couple of minutes. Use tongs to divide the chicken, bacon or pancetta, asparagus and most of the tomatoes between your plates. Squash the remaining tomatoes, mixing them with the lovely juices in the pan, then drizzle over the chicken before serving.[/spoiler]
