A huge thank you...Bungie has actually changed my life

So Im not sure where to start, though Im also mailing a letter of thanks to Bungie's office as well, but I wanted to put the info in as many places as possible since it means so much to me. I joined Xbox live about 5 years ago, at the time I had no interest in Halo whatsoever (it was kind of just something I heard about a lot and thought was overrated). But I soon got convinced to buy Reach for the sake of simply being able to play with my friends online. I started with just multiplayer, wasn't too interested in the story at first. But then I met a gamer that changed that. We got along so well that he decided it was going to be his mission to run me through EVERY Halo game in order by time frame (not by release). My addiction was born...We played through Reach on Legendary (since we NEVER play on anything lower than legendary), Anniversary came next on our list, then Halo 2, then ODST and 3, and lastly 4. We earned EVERY achievement in all of the games, and we bonded through the struggle (because it wasn't an easy task to accomplish). I was amazed, though, that me being in Texas in the United States, was finding that I had become a huge part of someones life in New Zealand (and visa versa). Halo brought us together, and the months worth of gaming together bonded us. We got to a point where we were always in contact with each other, even outside of gaming. We video chatted on Kinect, facebooked and emailed each other throughout the day. We had a lot more in common than just Halo...and over the years we started to realise that there was more to us than just friends..so we decided to give "us" a shot and he bought me a trip to New Zealand so that I could visit for three months and see how things worked out. That was 8 months ago, and I haven't left. We are madly in love with each other, and I am now carrying a beautiful baby boy in my stomach with a man that was once countries apart from me. All of this may sound silly, and people have judged us before for falling in love with someone before meeting them in person, or even on the same country grounds. But the truth is, it wasn't silly. In the years that we gamed together we were able to find what was most important in a relationship. It wasn't about gifts for us, or going on dates and spending money. It wasn't physical desires that fuelled us. It was words. Every day we spent hours just TALKING, learning about each other, and listening. Too many people get caught up in the physical and materialistic desires. I never needed gifts from him, I didn't need to be held all the time or taken out, I just wanted to talk with him. We are connected on such a high mental level, an intellectual level, that we cannot be separated. And if it weren't for the amazing world of Halo, we would have never even met. So Thank you Bungie team, thank you for being the reason that I am happy now and the reason we are now making a wonderful family together. No matter what happens in the gaming world, I will never get rid of my Halo games, I will never part with something that means so much to me and has truly changed my life. Your games are amazing and have done a lot more for me and my partner than you could ever imagine.

So Thank you Bungie team, thank you for being the reason that I am happy now and the reason we are now making a wonderful family together
You may be saddened to learn that bungie now considers these "children" from the past marriage a "disastrous flaming turd of failure". Best to think of bungie as the bitter partner of a failed marriage, who has now run off with an old boyfriend (one which it rejected back in 2000) ... and those 5 halo children as being nothing more than a hurtful reminder of those past time, something to focus your hate upon and use in a war of payback.
