For those that own the 3DS and ALBW how good is it? Is it worth the price? Another question that would sell it for me is how is the music?

Very nostalgic for someone who has played A link to the past.
-
Yes, it is one of the best they have made

Edited by Orion: 1/15/2014 2:42:36 AMYes, absolutely. And the music is fantastic.

It's great, but far too easy. Beat it in about 15 hours, and that was exploring everything and messing about too. My stats at the end of the game said I died twice - and both of those times were the final boss of the game. Still an awesome game though.

My friend, a life long Zelda fan, said no. It's basically just a link to the past with a gimmicky gameplay addition and one admittedly cool plot thing, but only picks up towards the end of the game. But he says it's not worth it. Just play link to the past and you've basically got it.

Yes. I would risk fire at the hands of Zeldafanboys and say it is the best top-down Zelda.
-
I got it guize

I don't like the lack of a specific order to the dungeons and the item rentals. I feel like it has forced them to make the dungeons the same moderate difficulty. (I've only rescued 4/7 sages so I may change my mind once I beat it.) Most items are available to you once you reach a certain point removing the idea of rooms/puzzles progressively incorporating the different items as you unlock them. I also don't like the waypoints on the overworld map. That being said its a great pick up and play title. Its been casualized a bit but it still delivers in the fun department. I wouldn't pay $40 for it though(I got the Special Edition XL that came with it). Wait for a sale.

Link Between Worlds is a very fun and rich experience. That being said, it's a tad bit too short.
-
It's outstanding. Go buy it ASAP.

It's one of the best Zelda games made. As long as you try to unlock everything before you finish it, the game will give you a satisfying playthrough.

The fook is ALBW?
-
absol-fckin-lutely
-
Yes. It's fantastic.
-
I've heard only good things.

Edited by tntbabin: 1/14/2014 4:33:45 AMI'd say "hell yea it's worth it!" The story is solid, classic Zelda style story. The ability to merge with walls adds a unique, fun dynamic to the game, the gameplay itself is great, alot like A Link to the Past in some ways but improved(imo), and the 3Ds's 3D effect seems to help with depth perception(which is something I normally have a problem with in overhead view games). As for the music, I love it! Especially the Death Mountain theme. While we're on the topic of music, the milk bar has a band that plays music from the game for 20 rupees.

It's a rehash so

Edited by mneo: 1/14/2014 12:29:17 AMI think it's one of my favorite games I played last year, and it must be played with earphones; the music is very good.

The music is really good. The game is also really good, and if you liked Link to the Past you'll definitely love it.
-
It's great.
Another question that would sell it for me is how is the music?
I've not played the game myself yet, but that seems easy enough to research :)
