Hunger Games-style game?

I know, I know, Battle Royale and all that stuff. Anyway, what do you guys think of a Hunger Games style game? 12 people start off in a randomly generated area with no weapons or food or anything, and they have to fight each other off until one survives. You could upgrade your skills throughout your career in the game, but only the top few people earn upgrade points after each game. Things you can upgrade could include survival skills, likability (to get sponsors,) ranged weapon skills, close quarters weapons skills, overall athleticism, and so on. You would never be able to upgrade what physical items you went into a new game with, though. That's always the same for each player. I think maps would have to be random so no one could get an advantage over other players who are new to the terrain.

  • I've always thought about this, you could set up your character from different districts to have strengths and weaknesses. And maybe preferences with certain weapons, but during the days of training you could decide what to train and work on. And there would be a multitude of things to do before the hunger game itself, I'm tired so I'm not going to go into details. When ready you would be sent into a multiplayer match, where it would randomize maps, maybe even certain rules. And BOOM, you live? You get to keep the character for the next game. You die? Restart and try again. Rock hard, but VERY rewarding.
