Tha. . .that's the same thing pro-lifers say.
-
Why is it wrong to tell that to a girl first when she worries about abortion?
-
Because that's a private matter between the woman and the doctor and it's really none of your business.
-
Are you trolling or actually serious? I'm not even kidding. > men have to take full responsibility before sex > women can murder a -blam!-ing baby if they don't want the child after sex
-
Both parties must take responsibility before sex. And trolling? Am I even stating an opinion here? This is the damn law.
-
Both parties must take responsibility before sex... This is the damn law.
Not if you're a woman and want to scrape the fetus out of your vagina.
-
Not if you're a woman and want to scrape the fetus out of your vagina.
I don't think anyone in the right mind actually wants to get an abortion. It's a serious medical procedure and if women feel it is for the better of themselves and the eventual baby, then ultimately, the woman will make the tough decision to have it.
-
That doesn't matter: What you said was that both parties must take legal responsibility before sex. This entirely contradicts what you've said. I'm sorry, but I care none to argue this anymore. Don't take offense to this, but your argument is weak, contradictory and discriminatory. I have no further interest debating this subject.
-
Nice try, but you don't get to try and have the last say and then go on to say that you're done debating.
What you said was that both parties must take legal responsibility before sex.
And that's not always possible. It's ideal that everyone is educated in sex, but that's just not a reality. If a man gets a woman pregnant and what the woman chooses to do counteracts the man's choice, then the only thing that can be said is that we need better sex ed. Because is no way should a man be allowed to force a woman into abortion.
-
And telling a man he should have used protection or not had sex is NOT a private matter and is totally your business?
-
he should have used protection or not had sex
Have you not had a sex ed class at school?
-
Have you not had a sex ed class at school?
Um....NO?! I literally had to look up everything on my own because it was not offered when I was in High School. Regardless, if a man has a prenup he shouldn't be obligated to the child in any way, shape, or form. But how com men should have to write one up every time they have sex if they don't have the money for condoms, yet a women can just get an abortion? Whatever you give me on why a man has to do it, it still equates back to your original argument. It's a private matter between the man and the woman and none of your business.
-
The 'none of your business' thing refers to the time you step into a doctor's office. That's undisclosed information. When you get an abortion, the people nor the government has the authority to know (and they shouldn't). You can't take that out of context and apply to something else.
-
You can't take that out of context and apply to something else.
So it's totally everyone's business when one man and one woman decide to have sex without protection for whatever reason and they're not allowed to keep it confidential in anyway save for when they have to bring it up with the courts and even then, all that information is wrongfully kept in private by said courts?
-
Why would someone go to court over an abortion. Your hypothetical makes no sense.
-
They're not going to court over the abortion, they're going to court over whether or not the father must pay child support.
