The floods melee attack wouldn't do shit to necromorphs and even if the flood did shoot them with their shotguns or whatever they have, or still wouldn't do shit to a necromorph

Sure, I mean because Issac is stronger than the Flood hence why he can melee or curbstomp necros to death, but Flood aren't strong enough while they can blow through MJOLNIR shields which in canon take a considerable amount of kinectic force to breach, not to mention the armor itself which is grade A titanium reinforced with nano crystals that make it very much stronger than kevlar, which they penetrate as if nothing. Makes sense.
