I've replied to a few post on here already, but I really like the anime. It's tied for my all time favorite, but I recognize that they rushed the story a bit because they literally had to fit 3 books worth of information into the first season, which is only 25 episodes long. Because of that they had to leave a LOT of story stuff out, and even more specific details that made a big difference.

For reals. I loves the extra info the books have, like the various ways the game works.

Oh hell yeah! I LOVED how in the first book it describes how the skill system works, and how people unlock special skills, like how Klien got his katana skills, by leaving his curved swords to a really high level.

Yeah or how rendering in the game worked. Only whatever a character was looking at was rendering since the game was so big. And if a person really focused on something then it would render even more detailed. And characters were afraid to concentrate on things at first because they thought if too many people focused on stuff then the game would glitch or something and kill them lol.
