Yes.

No.

I recently learned that 4 of my friends can't swim, and I can't either. I'm wondering how common it is.

  • I tried to learn how to when I was a kid, I was around 5/6. . But I was never able to learn how to swim =( I almost drowned two 2 times though . . The first time when I was a kid 5/6 I jumped in the diving area of a pool that's at my high school (They had/have lessons and stuff there) . . I don't remember exactly why I did it, I think it might of been because I was curious about that area of the pool . . I remember vividly sinking to the bottom and trying to climb up to the surface of the water, but I couldn't . . I don't remember exactly how I got to the surface and out of the pool, but I did get out . . Nobody got me out . . It was late at night 7/8 pm . . By then a lot of people were gone . . The second time was at my friends house . . I said to my friend I wanted to dive in the pool, so my brother and friend said that they would get me out if I couldn't swim . . So I dove in, sunk to the bottom of the pool, I tried to kick off the bottom, but I couldn't stay above the water . . They see that, come over . . And pull me up and out of the water . . For 2 to 3 days after that I had a constant feeling of drowning when I would wake up =( I don't think I'll go back in a body of water that's 10 feet deep anymore.
