See you're a little wrong on two parts. Bungie has already had Breaking Benjamin fit into a Sci-fi game and made it awesome so there's no way to dispute that BB can't fit somewhere but nay-say lets move on. The Rolling Stones... they always have a place where there is a need for kicking ass and taking names. It's just the way the stones roll, if there's a badass somewhere trying to survive the Red Stop on Jupiter then you know he's flying his ship to the sound of Gimme Shelter.
Now if you're taking a leisurely stroll through the ruins of Moscow then perhaps you would like to listen to some Wagner's Tristan und Isolde
But if you're a crew of humans and you're ready to take back what's yours then you show up in style, you scavenge a real classic cassette player and throw in Back in Black, ceremoniously wearing the garb stating dressed to kill.
Or, you've just had to leave a new friend behind and you miss the sweet sweet music they used to sing. Then you'll find yourself drying tears to the sound of Wish You Were Here, because you know you might never get to see that beautiful Duke MK.44 ever again. You have to try and remember the good times, like when you knocked that Fallen's head clean off.
Point is no music doesn't fit. Anyhow, Bungie always finds a way to fit in some awesome songs that captures that mood perfectly. Plus, if you don't like the tune they're bouncing too then you can easily pop in that 8-Track, Cassette, CD, Ipod, or Thought Activated Heads-Up Display. You can just do whatever lets you Float On
