Speak for yourself. I've never felt betrayed. I thought that they made it clear when Bungie said: We're hiring for PS. That's right, we wern't betrayed because we were already out. They are free to do what they want. They gave us what we wanted, and now we come back asking for more? Just let it go.

2 RepliesI'm a massive Xbox/Bungie/Destiny fan, but personally I don't give a monkey's toss that they are giving special treatment towards PlayStation players, in fact I praise them for it... I totally understand why they are doing this. For years the Xbox community was blessed to have halo as an exclusive. Now with their new project, they want to make it so that everyone can enjoy/experience their great work and skill (as well as the extra £). And the best way to embrace a new community is by making them feel welcome and at home. This is why PlayStation peeps are getting extra content etc... Not because they don't care about us Xbox posse.

4 RepliesEvery time I see an Xbox user/fan whinge about how ps4 gets early beta access or exclusives and how bungie has apparently 'betrayed' all Xbox users etc etc etc, I have a strange and sudden urge to facepalm. So what if ps4 gets early beta or exclusive content? It's not as if it will be a game changer in game and bungie obviously has good reasons to do so. I own an Xbox One (and I'm pretty damn hyped for Destiny to be released) but I am not bothered by Bungies approach at all.. In fact, good on them! I doubt with games in the future they will do the same but since this is the beginning of bungie providing games for ps4 also, I think it's a great a start. [spoiler]Ultimately Bungie is able to do whatever the -blam!- they like with their games. Don't like it? That's too bad. :)[/spoiler]

It astounds me how little people here understand the job of the publisher(activision) and the job of the delevoper(bungie) as outlined in the publishing contract between the two. Bungie's job, full control over the creation and development of their product(destiny), this is great for us fans because this means that Activision has absolutely no sway in the creative process and developmental decision making this game. Activisions job as a publisher is to set dates, and finance the development and marketing of the product, what this means, as outlined in the contract, is that Activision has 100% control over the marketing, which means they decide how its marketed and which system its primarily marketed on. Think back to last May and e3, Activision's other huge franchise, Call of Duty, was marketed almost exclusively on the Xbox One, so its not a stretch to assume that the reason Activision is pushing their other huge franchise, Destiny, so hard on the PS4, its just smart marketing. and yes, extra content bonus's, beta dates, thats all a part of marketing. Its not that Bungie betrayed us xbox owners, no more than Call of duty betrayed their PS4 fanbase and it has nothing to do with sucking up to a new console demographic. It's just marketing.

Considering Xbox got an entire exclusive franchise, I don't think it's that bad. They have to appeal to ps gamers because they have been on one console for ten years. It's business. They undoubtably still care about their xbox fans.

It wouldn't really be exclusive content if everyone got it at the same time dude. As a PS4 user, early beta access doesn't mean shit. And as far as i know that is the only "exclusive" (timed) content that has been announced. Don't really see the big deal. Sometimes i wish they would have given XB1 players the early beta access just so this forum would be rid of these threads. Seriously bungie needs to give us something better than they give in the mail sack because i thought this whole Bungie betrayed xbox fans narrative was fizzling out. I'm getting the feeling that all these threads are just really roundabout ways of trolling or something. Bungie if you see this, please for the love of god come out with a new 90 sec. gameplay video or something, just so we can stop dealing with the butthurt that a early beta access has created.

As an Xbox user, I don't feel betrayed at all. Because it's coming to more than one console and most importantly, It's just a game. It won't break my heart and most people upset about it probably won't play it for more than 2 or 3 years.

Out of all the "We Feel Betrayed" or "Bungie Favors PlayStation More" type posts, this one is the most tolerable, by far. I like how you're not bashing Bungie or PlayStation and respectfully disagreeing with Bungie's choices. Thank you for being one of the good ones.

Frankly I'm not that bothered, as long as its not something moronic like they give entire game modes or worlds to PS and not to us, it doesn't bother me. Were getting Titanfall on Xbox exclusive and got COD early, so if PS gets access to the beta a bit earlier and one or two exclusive items I'm not gonna cry a river. Just wish them well and give them a middle finger if they try to rub it in.
