You get great rappers like N.O.R.E., Do Or Die and Rakim then you get average rappers like Slim Thug, A$AP Rocky and French Montana. tupac wasn't even good enough to be average IMO, his lyrics are simple. I don't understand how people say things like 'tupacs music had alot of soul and passion' yet it's far from it. tupac was no legend, just an overrated rapper who surprisingly managed to attract a large number of mindless worshipers until this day. Shout out to DMX, to me he will always be the underrated legend who deserved the hype pac received (overrated is not a term I use often btw)
