I never denied that soldiers in real-life scenarios swear in live firefights. Yes, I have watched plenty of those helmet cam videos. Regardless, Destiny, nor any game for that matter, needs profanity to be "authentic," or drive the "hardcore" point home to make it good.

Having played the Battlefield 4 beta where DICE has removed all profanity from multiplayer characters, I can say (at least for me) that the gameplay still had that great intense affect without it.
