I honestly do not understand why people hype these games so much. I've seen some gameplay and they look [i]okay[/i]. Is it the story or something? Because otherwise I could only imagine HL3 being the greatest disappointment in video game history due to all the hype it has been given.

I think it will be disappointing... Half life 2 was revolutionary at the time and i think it was voted game of the decade... I'm not sure if it was the physics engine or what but it was very popular and apparently revolutionary to games... Maybe someone else can shed some light on this
