Why a private beta?
Why would Bungie release a private beta only accessible by pre-order? Is this simply a money-grubbing move? Why not invite the whole wide world to try this new genre and break it?

1 ReplyI assume they want some amount of investment and commitment from the players that are testing the game. This Beta isn't some demo that you download, play for five minutes, then move on to the next free thing, it's a chance for fans to help Bungie polish the final game experience by simply doing what we do best.
