Why a private beta?
Why would Bungie release a private beta only accessible by pre-order? Is this simply a money-grubbing move? Why not invite the whole wide world to try this new genre and break it?

5 RepliesI'd rather it be tested by the fans who can give constructive criticism on how to improve the game, not just anybody who can pick up a controller. Do you really want people coming on this forum saying: "hey guys. i just downloded the dstny beta and i think it wud be sooo cool if u cud 360 noscope liek in cod they shud add horses n stuff 2 bcuz that wud b siiiiiccckkkk blops 2 had horses n that game wuz tight lol"
