It was really good. Not as good as Chaos Theory, but far better than Conviction. I like the amount of options you have to deal with situations, as well as the sandbox-like level design. As far as I'm concerned, the only true way to play the game is on the Perfectionist difficulty; getting rid of the Mark & Execute "I win" button and the wall hack goggles really improves the game.
I didn't like the plot that much though, too Michael Bay summer blockbuster-y for me; I really miss the writing style of the older games. And of course, the lack of Michael Ironside was a travesty. Ubisoft should have just made a brand new character.

I didn't understand Ubisoft's reasoning behind Ironside not voicing Sam though. They needed a voice actor who could do motion capture or something? I mean as far as I was aware, voice acting meant... using your voice to act.

Edited by Smarkdow: 10/1/2013 10:37:21 PMIt's funny how Sam in Blacklist is the exact opposite of what Ironside wanted the character to be. As for Ubisoft's reason for replacing him, I thought it was total bullshit. I think a more reasonable explanation is money. Ironside wanted more money than Ubisoft was willing to give, so they opted to replace him rather than pay him. Of course, that's just what I think.
