Compatibility with first gen Xbox 360

I know that Bungie is mainly gearing destiny towards the PS4 console instead of Microsofts Xbox 360 or one but what about those of us who have a first gen Xbox 360. How will the game run, GTA 5 is having issues with first gen xbox consoles, what about destiny? I plan on getting a next gen console in the near future but I don't plan to just yet, because of this I don't really want to by a new xbox 360.

  • The only reason the first gen system may have problems is just because of the terrible cooling systems in the launch consoles. Just about all of those are out of use anyway due to RRoD. If you're referring to all of the pre-slim consoles, not just the launch ones, those should be fine. I have the old Arcade version and it runs GTA V surprisingly well. I've had no frame drops or freezes at all. The only big difference between the different 360 versions is the cooling system. The pieces inside are the same for each iteration, just scaled down a bit each time. If you have a launch 360, you may have a few hiccups, but if you have a post-launch system you shouldn't need to worry.
