Syria v America and chemical weapons

Syria completed the submission of chemical weapons details ahead of deadline, and is now on the path to destroy all is chemical weapons. What is America's time frame to do the same? Given it abhorant feelings, and demands, I guess we wont be waiting long to see America follow Syria ... anything else would be nothing short of hypocrisy.

    • it wouldn't be hypocrisy, because the US doesn't use them in war crimes.

They may have submitted the details of their chemical weapons program, but destroying their chemical weapons in the midst of a civil war will be a daunting task. I also thought that the weapons were going to be handed over to a neutral third party (i.e the UN), in which case the job for getting the weapons in a civil war becomes that much harder. Also, we've destroyed around 70% of our stockpile and we continue to dismantle more. Stop it with the hypocrisy talk. If you want to see hypocrites about this, look at Russia.
