Calling one of the options "drop a petri dish holding a fetus" makes people care about it less than if you called it "kill a fetus growing inside it's mother".
Yeah you should save the baby, but that doesn't mean fetuses are significantly less valuable. I looked it up and apparently by the time it is considered a fetus it has all the main recognizable features of a human and has all major body organs.

Okay. Imagine I am holding a baby and a mother expecting a baby above my head (because I can bench press 300 pounds which makes this possible.) The mother will land stomach first. The mother will be hurt, but live (same cannot be said for that fetus inside.) The baby will die. Pick.

Okay that's a tough one, how badly does the mom get hurt/will she recover/how long until then? (I'm kinda having fun with those questions, but it would also help me decide)

How ever much pain someone who just fell six feet onto their stomach feels. Probably has the wind (and a fetus) knocked out of her. She'll recover without intervention in a few minutes.
-
Did the woman intentionally fall? Was it an accident? Did someone force her to fall? (I'm trying to figure out if there would be any lasting guilt or mental trauma.)

Umm, dang this is really a tough one... People can fall less than 6 feet and break limbs, but if you say she's most of the way better within a couple minutes... I'll try to come up with an answer soon
