12 year old girl jumps off building after being bullied.

Article video Whenever I see something like this I get upset and smack my head at the same time. I know bullying is very hard on a girl her age but there are other options other than suicide. I wish she had nicer friends but I guess girls her age are just nasty people. Is abusing someone supposed to be fun? What are your thoughts on this and what should happen to the bullies?

I'm starting to think the problem is less that people are little bitches today compared to yesteryear and more to do with young kids not understanding what suicide really means. They get a glamourised view of it courtesy of the idiotic news outlets who weep crocodile tears at every child who offs themselves and then give them all this posthumous attention and praise. It's no wonder that children see it as a viable option now. They are having a shit time from the bully/ies, nobody can just deck the little shits or kick them out of the school bcuz yuminroights and so they see this other option to them Chug a gallon of bleach - The internet's worship + endless wailing women on the news about the tragedy of a promising future cut short. Kids want attention - surest way to get it is to leap off a building/hang from a ceiling fan. SO you have glamourised suicides, shitty existence + the perfect culture/society to breed misery and mental health issues in bloody infants let alone teenagers. So rather than the time honoured practise of abhorring/stigmatising the living shit (or not so living) out of suicide it is being perversely worshipped. A good first step would be to stop all news reports on suicides. Blanket ban. It might seem harsh/odd/censorship but seriously it will only be positives for society from there on in. Then give teachers the power to deal with bullies properly, or not to expel children for fighting back. Seriously, teach kids that if someone is attacking you it is ok to beat them up and not get punished for being right then maybe that would kerb some of it. As for cyberbullying... I'm 50/50 over that. TURN THE -blam!-ING PC OFF comes to mind but at the same time there is a genuine problem with it when it goes to extremes. GAAH *flips table*
