GTA V Mandatory Download Question
So, I'm sure some of you know of GTA V's required download that's 8 gigabytes. My question is, is this download installing the game to your hard drive or is like (for example) a texture pack like Battlefield 3? What I mean by that is when I download the 8 gb "update", does that update install GTA V to my hard drive a long with everything else or will I still need to install the actual game?
It's a weird question, I may of worded it confusingly and if I have I apologize but this is just something I'm curious to know.

I'd assume it's a little of both. Nothing like a day one patch to stop your game being completely leaked early! The reason for mandatory installs is that the read speed from a disc (even Blueray, especially Compact Discs) is so much slower it creates a bottleneck for games that are constantly loading world areas, meshes and textures (like GTA, Skyrim, etc).
