Name one thing that disappointed you in ME3 apart from the ending.

Not having as many squadmates as in ME2. One of my favorite aspects of ME2 was having this diverse range of interesting characters to choose from. In 3... you had Garrus, Liara, and a bunch of humans and EDI who was nowhere near as awesome as Legion. And no I don't care about bullshit DLC characters.

Plot was 75% Cerberus Starbrat TIM going full retard. Diana Allers Rachni Queen Clone/War Assests. Kai Leng have as much intelligence as Ocelot during MGS3 but Bioware thinks he's best antagonist eva. Artistic Integrity Legion all like "lol reapahs good" Liara showing up everywhere Kal Reeger killed via email Emily Wong killed via twitter "Hey guy's what if we take away the neutral bar?" Shit-tier PTSD Paragon too much of a man-child Renegade too much of a child murderer. Tali's face. Finding out the Protheans are actually elitist PC master race huggers Origin 90% autodialog Collector base decision turned into war assets Background and profile thrown out the window >Be Earthborn >lolearthisonfirebettergofightcerberus Miranda and Sister And what pissed me off the most that wasn't the ending -DLC Character's get -blam!-ed over and get at least 2 minutes of screen time. Too put the icing on the cake Both of them were my favorite squadmates in ME2 ;_; Also i realized i forgot a lot more. Reapers not being all bigandscareh Harbinger showing up for 2 seconds, leaves. War Assets War Assets just change color of ending Mess sergeant Gardner MIA Fetch Quests Shepard qq'ing about Thessia "Hey you went renegade in ME2? Well -blam!- you" Lack of hard choices Citadel Council loosing their spaghetti. Got dang Reaper kill switch. (Crucible) Senator Armstrong green beam of light nanomachining everything at ending (synthesis) EDI and Joker But wait there's more! Kelly Romance Jack Romance Jacob Romance Every ME2 romance except the Dextro Squad Conrad dies if you do ridiculous ME1 side quests None of the Citadel quests have nothing of value except make your EMS E-peen grow bigger Virmire survivor bitching about me being in Cerberus The Elcor Homeland mission was me scanning there moon 1 Hub world. Which is mostly just the place were you do peoples homework Dark Energy plot thrown out window. Casey Hudson. The only real good thing about ME3 was the MP so i can have dem quarian jiggly bumb bumb

As long as the plot is focused on Cerberus As long as the ending is illogical (No, the extended cut doesn't fix this, in fact it only makes it worse) As long as the intro has the teleporting kid As long as Anderson stays back just to die As long as the kid is melodramatic As long as Kai Leng is the main antagonist As long as the Illusive Man is an idiot As long as there is no neutral option As long as there is autodialog As long as Diana Allers exists As long as Oriana Lawson's death scene exists As long as the Reapers help the Geth kill organics to stop synthetics like the Geth from killing organics As long as the side missions are fetch quests As long as the Rachni don't play an important role As long as the ending is A, B, C (or D) As long as Kal Reeger is killed through email As long as Emily Wong is killed through Twitter

        • While I loved the game, I wish the side quests involved more than scanning random planets for some guy's shit. Also, too much auto-dialog, I like being able to micromanage shepherd's dialog.

        • The same thing that has disappointed me throughout the entire series: you amass a sizable amount of followers, only to have them sit around your ship the entire game being utterly worthless. The only time in the series where I didn't feel like I was Papa Shepard bringing home dinner to a bunch of helpless children was during ME2's suicide mission, when your crew finally got off of their lazy asses and finally helped you do something.

        • The fact that a majority of the side missions were nothing more than going to a star system and spamming the scan button over and over. The first one at least had exploration of uncharted worlds. Yeah, they were just random terrain maps colored blue, but at least it was actual gameplay. That and Kai Leng. Like in the fact that he actually exists as a character.

        • Kasumi's Stolen Memories was my favorite DLC besides Lair of the Shadow Broker. As for a disappointment, that would be that Banshees, Brutes, ATLAS's, and the Rachni are just glorified bullet sponges. I love the game and its entire series none-the-less.

        • Having to play Multiplayer to get any of the Non-shit endings. No Krogan squadmate. Diana Allers' character. Format of the endings leaves no possibility for Mass Effect games set after the events of Mass Effect 3. Kelly romance being so small, and there being no explanation as to whether she is alive or dead after the Reapers take the Citadel. You have to do a bunch of things exactly one way to save Quarians AND Geth. Side missions are recycled MP maps. Or maybe MP maps are recycled side missions. Conrad dies unless you did obscure ME1 side quest that nobody did. Biotic Shep still never gets to use Biotics in a cutscene.

The streamlined dialogue system. Or the stupid fetch quests. Or the stupid multiplayer map horde mode quests. Or the journal. Or the character assassinations. Or the stupid war assets and EMS/galactic readiness system. Or Priority: Earth. Or the ridiculous and pointless coup mission. Or the fact that there's only one (lame) hub world. Or James Vega. God, where to start with ME3? This could easily go on and on and on... It would actually be easier to list the redeeming qualities of ME3.

            • Only one? -Autodialogue -Dialogue fork -No neutral option -Dialogue options being largely similar with only a difference in tone. -Autodialogue -Shepard is no longer your character -Fetch quests involving scanning for space bibles and space artifacts -Invading people's privacy by eavesdropping to take said fetch quests instead of actually having a conversation with them. -No exploration, consistent with Bioware's "If people don't like it, remove it entirely instead of fixing what was wrong with it" philosophy. -Squadmate interaction is lacking. -Liara favoritism. -Autodialogue -Shepard being depressed over Thessia. Would have been nice if we could actually influence him like in the previous two Mass Effect games. -Playing Renegade is painful in Mass Effect 3, not because of difficult choices but because it's so damn inconsistent. One moment Shepard is a completely nice and respectful dude and the next he's executing people. It's like Shepard is a psychopath. -Journal UI is terrible. -Ashley being sexed up just because Bioware "needed her to be sexy" even though that's inconsistent with her character. -Kai Leng is a horrible antagonist. No wait, I take that back. He's laughable. -Cerberus being the main enemy for most of the game instead of the Reapers. -Cerberus is reduced to being a comic book villain organization. -Cerberus somehow expanded so quickly between Mass Effect 2 and 3 that they've built up a fleet and troops that rival the Alliance. -EMS -Your choices being reduced to nothing more than a number. -Harbinger being nothing more than a cameo. He doesn't even speak to you once. -Anderson is a -blam!-ing moron. -Crucible. "We don't know what it does, but we're gonna build it anyway and rely on this Space MacGuffin." -Your choice regarding the Collector base at the end of Mass Effect 2 not mattering at all. Mass Effect 2 is rendered completely pointless. -No trial like the Arrival DLC heavily hinted was going to occur. Would have been a perfect place for newcomers to make choices from previous games and for veterans to defend their actions. But no, no trial. -The intro is -blam!-ing stupid. There's no build up, it's just "Oh committee wants to talk to m-HOLY SHIT REAPERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" -Earth is special for some reason. -Those dream sequences are annoying. I don't give a damn about that kid. Bioware tried so hard to make us care, but they failed. -Instead of attacking and taking control of the Citadel immediately, the Reapers decide to do everything else first. Why? I don't know. You'd think that they'd want to stick to that aspect of the original plan, in order to cut off the galaxy from one another, preventing an organized response from occurring. But no, they're nice enough to wait. -When the Reapers finally take control of the Citadel (What happened to that Defense Force we authorized? They can't be dead, we see traffic when we're inside.), they decide to somehow move it to Earth. Why? I don't know, because Earth is special. -Priority: Earth is nowhere as good as the Suicide Mission. And I would have loved to see all my choices in effect, like Krogan riding dinosaurs or something. But no. Phew, I'm exhausted. If I think of more, I'll edit my post. But for now I'll just leave you with: LOT'S OF SPECULATION FROM EVERYONE!

            • I was disappointed by the little exploration on offer, and the seriousness of the story took away the from the fun that me2 had. The dialogue was so much more linear than it should have been. I was impressed by the multiplayer, but the matchmaking speeds were poor and i didnt like the random boxes and how long it took to get enough credits for the big ones.

            • Mainly Cerberus. They got turned into generic evil bad guys. I wish there was a way to support them more. I also didn't like how predictable the game was. I replayed the series recently and had a blast playing ME 1 and 2. When I got to 3 I stopped because it got boring and slightly comedic.
