If you're gay, you're still inferior to some people.
Eric Alva, the very first Marine to be seriously injured in Iraq by losing his leg, was booed off the stage just because he was gay.
“Well I just left city council chambers and I feel like crying," he wrote. "I have never seen a city so divided and hateful towards each other. All of mankind should be ashamed. I already spoke and even some of the religious groups even booed me as I spoke. Such disrespect as they preach the word of God."
This comes directly from the article.
Opinions on this?

Edited by DarkSpyda04: 8/17/2013 7:53:12 PMBut you know who god REALLY hates? Closed-minded bigots who have nothing better to do than express hate for everyone except themselves. How did "Love thy neighbor" transition into "Hate thy neighbor"? It's like we live in the -blam!-ing dark ages. It doesn't matter if someone is gay, straight, bi, trans, black, white, Hispanic, Asian, even if that person is an alien from outer space. You treat that person with the respect and dignity that they deserve. The only people I see going to hell are these hate groups. Sheer -blam!-ing irony. In fact maybe you can think it's a bit funny that I'm talking about treating people with respect when in fact I'm the one raging about hate groups. There's something called "Hate, and be hated". It's what happens when you have a biased, one-sided opinion on things - it turns into a flame war and both sides are hating something. If everyone could respect one-another from the start, this would never be an issue. It's a little too late for that, however.
