Out of these two who wins? The man of steal or the demi-god?
I saw this on another forum and was actually curious. This is what one of the posters said, which thinks Thor would win:
But really, aside from Kryptonite, Superman has a weakness against magic, and Thor is like a walking magical god. Mjolnir, the Power Sword, his armor... all magic. And he has like eons of combat experience while Superman is just winging it. Yeah Superman can blow some wind but Thor can summon a damn hurricane. Thor Odinson would decimate Superman.
Norse gods can die. Superman would win because he is worthy to wield the power of thor, as proven in that marvel/dc crossover thing
-
Thor is an actual god, sups is just an alien. Should be easy to decide.
-
Sups. without a doubt.
The man of steal
Are you saying Superman is black?

If Thor couldn't kill iron man nor captain america what makes you think he could take on Superman?
-
Superman is an incredibly powerful alien, but Thor is one of the mightiest gods(not demo-god). If it were a life or death situation, Thor wouldn't hold back like he usually does when fighting. Before I started reading the current Thor comic, I probably would've said Superman based on what I had seen from Thor in the movies. But simply based on the current Thor comic and and a little extra info, Thor destroys planets with his bare hands, stops then from exploding with his bare hands, can fight on the surface of the sun, travel at speeds beyond that of light, has ages of combat experience, and so much more. if he wanted to he could easily destroy the yellow sun where Superman gets his power from or just blast him with all his power, which is magic and would probably kill Superman. Like I said Superman is extremely powerful, but I think Thor would beat him. I would still enjoy the fight though

Superman's powers depend on the current writer since is never constant. That's why I always find Goku or other character of same level, powerfull than Superman.
-
Depends on which fanboy is writing the comic.
-
Thor. Because superman is a fag.
-
Are we talking about them at their strongest versions? Cause if so superman would take it
-
Thor would win, one of Super Man's weaknesses is magic.
-
Sorry Thor fans, Superman would take this any day. We commonly overlook Superman's freeze breath, which operates similarly to the Casket of Ancient Winter's freeze ray, and can encase an Asgardian long enough for Superman to punch his head into another dimension.
-
here you go.
-
Thor is god, Superman is alien. God wins.

Holy mother of god. Is this what DBZtards actually believe?
-
Neither. Batman intervenes and beats the blam out of both of them. Why? Because he's batman
-
Thor isn't a demigod. He's a full-blooded god.
-
If Superman can't beat Master Chief, then how can he ever hope to defeat Thor?
-
Unfair Fight.
-
Edited by Keeker: 8/14/2013 8:48:56 PMNeither, they both suck. :/
-
Batman would win. No questions asked.
-
Thor has an attack that wipes out 20% of the whole universe. superman does not.

Edited by Madman Mordo: 8/14/2013 12:32:50 PMHonestly, it really depends on the situation. Superman is a speedblitzer. Thor is barely fast enough to keep up with f*cking Quicksilver. If they started off face to face with no prior knowledge of each other, then IMO, Superman could take him quite candidly. However, Thor's Mjolnir is quite the game changer. Start them off at either side of the galaxy for example and Thor wins there, considering all he has to do is God Blast the entire Milky Way. Also, that user is incorrect on the magic point about Superman. It can harm him, but isn't comparable to Kryptonite where it instantly debilitates him. We'd have to be talking about gargantuan levels of energy to accomplish that. So all in all, they both have chances of defeating each other depending on the nuances.

Well you see. Superman has a reaction time in the nanoseconds (actually just typed out nanomachines lol), and is alot stronger, and can phase through solid objects at will, though in bursts. Thor has the God blasts, but it takes time to charge up, and the slight instance of weakness infront of superman is a bad thing

Superman can survive explosions and standing in the sun. A little hurricane wind/lightning won't stop him. He would simply use his ability to move at light speed to ram his fist through Thor's head.
