-
Same could be said for the majority of us here.
-
Wow, look at this piece of shit.
-
It is -blam!-ed up for anyone to say that even as a joke, please get help.
-
It is -blam!-ed up for anyone to actually get offended over the internet.
-
Edited by Mr whiteflame: 8/7/2013 1:33:41 AMMy girl friend killed herself last year over being bullied you insensitive prick. So yea I am gonna get offended. I know people like to make light of these situations with humor but those kind of jokes making things even more negative just are incentive. What if you were those girls parents and you saw that kind of shit everywhere you would be pretty -blam!-ing mad.
-
Her parents should be partly blaming themselves for A) not being aware of how their 14 year old daughter was using the internet, and ; 2) not teaching her that the opinions of others don't fuking matter in the slightest. If they hadn't dropped the ball as parents their precious waste of space might still be around to do whatever it is morons do with their lives.
-
Damn man. I understand what you are saying, as it is very important that parents foster a habit with their children of talking things through and being open, and nowadays this logically should include internet activities. But don't you feel you could tone down the edgy stuff, such as calling young kids and their parents morons? Don't you believe that 14 year old children can be extremely vulnerable? C'mon, have a bit of compassion. One can't judge immediately that the parents were failures or morons in this situation, because one (or we here) don't have omnipotent information ya get me? Calling a 14 year old girl a waste of space? God man, how can you talk like that? I don't mean to be aggressive here, or argumentative, I just want you to take a step back and think. Would you speak as harshly as you just have in real life, perhaps with your parents, family, or even friends?
-
Would you speak as harshly as you just have in real life, perhaps with your parents, family, or even friends?
Yes. Why would I censor myself? I don't give a shit about what other people think, and I'm sure not going to lie about my thoughts on a subject just because what I have to say might hurt someone's feelings.

Edited by Seanonix: 8/7/2013 12:25:24 PMOkay, if that's who you are. I was asking because some people are different over the internet. On the internet one can be alone in a sense, as other people's emotions or thoughts or interactions are non-existant until one posts. In real life, people are always around, and one tends to be aware of what people will think of this and that. Perhaps it is a natural survival instinct, or simply a deep understanding of human behavior by living with your fellow humans for years and years. Thus, in real life, one isn't particularly censored, one is simply living with other people. This can involve accepting others' actions or beliefs, being compassionate and understanding, or merely keeping your opinions to yourself and not giving a shit even enough to explain your opinions. But on the internet, a more lone wolf idea appears quite frequently. Where one doesn't have to even ponder a fellow human being's thoughts or feelings in respect to their actions or statements because those fellow humans aren't in the immediate life of that one person, and that one person doesn't have to live amongst them, since they are just text on a screen. Thus the formentioned survival instincts or tools that help co-habitation are sometimes ignored. But isn't the internet another realm of human co-habiation? A realm which could benefit from the same tools we humans use in real-real life?

Edited by Cart of Onions: 8/7/2013 2:02:35 AMCalm yourself, you cannot expect everyone who has not endured your pain to react the same way you do. I do not call people out when making jokes about people burning to death, other people just take it alot more lightly than I do because they haven't experienced it. Just like in your situation, none of us have experienced it so we just don't feel the same way when making a joke about it.
-
But there is a fine line when making a joke. Saying a person who committed suicide should have is not okay from any moral point of view.
-
I implied she's a moron who would most likely never contribute anything meaningful to society, I never said she should have killed herself. Suicide is a disgusting act, and your value to me is automatically 0 if you kill yourself
-
Your ex girlfriend was a stupid -blam!- who deserved to die.

2EDGY
-
Reported, muted. Have fun with your sad messed up existence you prick.
-
-Whiteflame :)
-
you're a fucking dick. you should've been the one who died, mate.
-
I should die because I think it's fuking stupid to end your life over trivial bullshit that doesn't matter? Alrighty then.
-
You should die because you lack basic human empathy. It doesn't matter how she died, she fucking died.
-
I feel empathy for her parents, I can't imagine how it must feel to lose a child. But that doesn't change the fact that the girl is a fuking moron for killing herself, for wasting whatever potential she had. I have no sympathy for anyone who commits suicide. It's a cowardly, permanent solution to a temporary problem and you leave a massive hole in the lives of the ones who love you. It's selfish, unnecessary and disgusting
-
You should feel empathy for her, not her parents. Victim blaming is evil, and it's a quick way to judge someone's character.
-
Why should I feel sorry for her? She put herself out there on the internet, instead of killing herself she should have just walked away. She made a fuking retarded decision and now her parent are left to deal with the mess. Sure, the people on Ask.fm shouldn't have been mean to her, but ignoring idiots is not a hard thing to do; the site has block and report features, and she could also have just made a new account. I feel sorry for the fact that she was bullied, but no sympathy at all for her killing herself. It's a disgustingly selfish decision and it's wrecked her loved ones lives. All over something easily preventable, had she not been a moron.
