Depending on your age and the job, I have varying responses.
Summer job for teens: "they won't fire you, you're just forming a bad habit."
Serious job, not just for teens: "Watch out, and save the explanation."
Anything else: "Dude, you have a job doing [i]that[/i]?!"

It's only a summer job, my parents made me switch from my previous summer job, which I enjoyed much more than my current one, which is really why I'm not that serious about it.
