    My only concern is that there isnt anything explaining how my choices made a difference in the galaxy they simply just blew everything up even something like a Fallout type ending would have been nice.

  • Please don't bring me back to those horrible weeks of depression after beating it. All I can say is this. They steamrolled just about everything grand they set up earlier in the series in the ending and battle beforehand.

But then me and Casey talked and decided, lets keep the conversation "High level". Give you the details that you need to know, but don't get into the stuff that you don't need to know. Like "How long have they been reaping?" You don't need to know the answers to the mass effect universe. So we intentionally left those out"

    • I just finished mass effect trilogy a few days ago and I thought it was alright. I was happy with it. Then again everyone(including Commander Shepard) lived for me.

      • Eh, I liked it. I didn't follow the hype train nor every word the developers had said about it, so I really had no idea what I was going into, thus I wasn't disappointed with it. Can't wait for Mass Effect 4.

        • Killing him off wasn't the problem, it was how they went about killing him off. It was a pretty anticlimactic ending for such a phenomenal series that had [i]so[/i] many people emotionally invested in it.

          • So much this, the ending mission felt like the devs just said -blam!- it and copied popular stuff. Zombies, Stupid boss where you have to destroy things attached to it to kill it, try to make it seem like you have a choice in what ending you got, but they were all basically the same. Deus Ex: Human Revolution was a great game, but I found all the endings to be exactly the same. I don't even consider that the ending. If you watch the entire credits you get the actual ending.

              • Different IPs and stories entirely. Deus ex didn't have three games worth of developers telling you that your choices would matter, that your choices wouldn't just be reduced to just a number, that your ending wouldn't be an A B or C choice, and its ending wasn't completely contradictory to the theme and story of the franchise.

                    They felt entitled to a happy ending. However, in their defense, Bioware said they would offer very diverse endings, which isn't really what happened.
