it's so far into the future that curse words were eliminated from humanity's vocabulary. At least as we know them.
I don't mind cursing, but it just isn't creative. It's been done too many times before. Plus, look at Halo. Destiny cursing will probably be similar.

Curse words from 50 years ago have all but been removed from our vocabulary. Language evolves so fast that expecting the same curse words 700 years in the future is unrealistic. I know from personal experience when I play a game filled with swearing it feels more like they were just trying to make it edgy and create shock factor than doing it to improve the story, and almost every time it just makes it feel like a 12 year old is playing mad libs with the dialogue.
