What I'm referring to different [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_knowledge]domains of knowledge[/url] wherein different truths exist. The reason I'm referring to that is because I think it's the best way to answer the OP's question; there are places where one is appropriate and the other isn't, but to an individual, they can be compatible. I'm answering the question more from a social perspective rather than a philosophical one.
