This is why people who don't know anything about the field of science shouldn't comment on it. The scientific method and the field of science aren't the same thing. The scientific method is simply a way to approach a hypothesis and come to a valid conclusion based on the data. The scientific method doesn't always work because there's always room for error, which is why you get things like flat earth theory, miasma theory, the geocentric model, etc. It looks like the OP wasn't able to contradict this, which was expected.
